Phil began his insurance career at Wausau Insurance/Liberty Mutual as a Senior Technical Claim Specialist where he examined, managed and resolved high exposure and complex commercial general liability claims. Prior to joining Wausau Insurance/Liability Mutual, Phil was a non-commissioned officer in the United States Air Force until his honorable discharge. He earned his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice/Social Welfare from the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee. He also earned his Certified Business Analyst Professional designation from George Washington University-Washington, D.C.
